Health Literacy and Teach-Back
- Supporting chronic disease self-management through health literacy and Teach-Back
- Quick revision by our expert nurses on heart failure action plans and the use of respiratory devices
- Meet local nurses, share knowledge, experience, ideas and information
The Teach-Back method is a way of checking for understanding in health consultations. Teach-Back has been shown to improve comprehension and knowledge retention and lower readmission rates.
The nurse network evening is an opportunity for nurses to network with your peers via education and discussions, and to learn skills and strategies with the following experts;
